Nothing quite compares
CountermelodiesWhen it begins,
it’s like discovering
the decadence of music.
Perhaps your breath hitches
on the cello carrying the countermelody.
It reminds you of their voice,
as they warm spices in the kitchen
and you’d wrap your arms around them from behind,
like the horns come up from under
and saturate the harmony.
Their body feels familiar in all different ways,
a second listen granted to a beautiful movement.

You can’t tell them you repeat
the first song they showed you
because it smells like their skin
If you listen close enough.
And they can’t tell you that
they try to harmonize with your
speaking voice on the phone

  Emerald leaves, orange light,
  Swaying bluebells, pink clouds,
  Rustling trees, calling birds,
  In the stillness of the forest.

  We wandered from the gravel path,
  Careful where we trod,
  Not to crush the innocent flowers,
  That tinted a fine fragrance.

  Past the great oak,
  Beyond the pine and beech,
  Our fingers entwined together,
  My hand locked safely in his.

  Great gorges and steep cliffs,
  We passed before an opening,
  Where light shone through gracefully,
  Catching on mysterious forms.

  The rosebay willowherb seeds
  Floated and waltzed effortlessly
  Through the air and caugh
A Lack of EloquenceYou told me you wanted to be a writer someday
And I couldn't help but wonder if you'd ever written about me
I went home and tried to write something beautiful about you
But I couldn't find the words
I don't know how to describe the kindness in your eyes
Or the way your voice sends shivers down my spine
Or how you linger in my dreams at night
No matter how I string my words together
They never quite seem to do you justice
You must forgive me for my lack of eloquence
And understand all the things I'm trying to tell you
When at last, for all my trying, the only words I have are these:
"I love you, I love you, I love you"
You are a bittersweet beauty with hips that lie.Do I crave you because I crave a intense muse?

soul feels ripped.

I want your flesh upon mine.

Whiskey lips and hips that don’t lie.

Bone against bone.

My body is my home.

Experience the bittersweet beauty.
BeautySmiling into the sunshine I go,
the warm rays on my face as I walk.
The world around me is vibrant,
every color rushing to meet my gaze.
The world seems as if it is waiting for me,
opening its beauty to my eyes.
A drop of water touches my face,
from the sky they fall,
bringing out new color and life.
I sit in the rain as around me it falls.
I would try to find the most beautiful things,
but you are the most beautiful thing of all.
It hurtIt hurt you know,
Falling for you.

I felt very bump and bang,
Every bruise and break.
I tried to hold on,
I tried to slow down,
I tried to stop.
But it was inevitable.
Gravity was too much,
It kept pulling me down
To you.

And when I landed,
When I hit the ground
At your feet
I could barely breathe.
It was too much
For anyone to handle
Let alone me.

But I watched you reach down,
And felt you pick me up.
You gathered together
All my broken pieces
And worked for days
Making me whole again.

It took time
But I finally realised
That for me to fall down to you
Meant that you
Had fallen too.

So once I was rebuilt
I searched for your missing p
Eternal LoveI never thought this day would come so soon.
And yet I always knew it was to come.
For we are nothing but another side of each other.
For all those years we were two sides of a single coin,
Spinning round and round but never facing one another, never meeting.
But those days have passed. We have joined in more ways than one.
And now we complete each other, black and white, white and black…
Different but the same. We will always continue to fly under the same sky.
Together. Nothing else matters but the connection we share.
This connection which binds us, it runs through our veins, through our blood, long before we ever met.
Eternal. Like the symbols that matched our colours and understood our souls.

I claw at the fake mink bed-spread,
Watch dust particles come to rest.

I fall asleep and
You visit me
In my dreamscapes,
Your soul in a strange, alien-animal:
I know it’s you,
With a body full of
Warmth and
Soft love.
Happy Birthday Fox!Every moment spent with you,
Everything which we once knew,
Is now melting into the past,
You and I, our futures last.

Together our souls burn bright,
Like a hearth and candlelight,
Late night talks or daylight hours,
Poems about us, or poems about flowers,

Though we are so far apart.
You are forever engraved in my heart,
Each passing second with you,
Is worth a lifetime to me.

Beauty in Baroque

In the darkness
Residing heartless
A love so dark
But oh love bequeath me

This feeling I have longed after for so long
Raven saturated locks ebbing and flowing with the wind
Starlight betraying the true nature of your beautiful hair
However raven like in the dark, but ever radiant in the day

A spring day
Lazily wandering through daisies, I watch you from afar
You know I am there, but you wait for me to make my move
And wasn't it you, love, who told me to make the first move?

The one who told me I was the one who had to engage you
Tell you how I feel
How the beauty of nature compliments your pretty face
And Lo! how you shine in such light

The moon's light cannot hold grace unto you
The sun's brightness cannot outshine your eyes
And oh those eyes.
How those gems gleam so radiant and with such love
The love I wish to feel, if you will only let me near

Past times have left me scarred
But your glow heals all wounds and keeps the demons at bay
If I only was as close as the wind upon your hair
and to smell your playful fragrance
and dance with your hair as do the flowers on a windy day
To graze your cheek with my hand, and to have you bless my lips with yours

Lo! Just to slow dance in the night under the music of the stars as does a symphony in full can sound
To feel your breath get heavier as I lean in to kiss you
To know you feel that rush of emotion as our lips touch
Just to feel your body tighten as you feel the love between
And your eyes close.

You know as well as I, love, that this moment will live on forever
Through good and bad, big and small, this moment will shine brighter than many suns
But never as bright as your eyes, which conquer mens hearts, as it doth mine

Please stay with me in this memory forever. If time will not grace, then at least the memory of this will

For I know this is but a dream, one I am wishing to become true
